In-person notarization / commissioning Remote commissioning (eligible documents only)

Remote commissioning is different from remote notarization. Remote or virtual notarization is not currently permitted in Ontario.

Preferred Appointment Time

Government-issued photo identification is generally required, and additional identification or original-document requirements may apply. Remote commissioning is available only where legally permitted and where the receiving organization accepts it. Submitting a request does not, by itself, mean that the Practice has agreed to provide legal representation.
